Unusual dates on gravestones in country churchyards

Postby Mark on Tue Sep 29, 2009 10:16 am

In the churchyard of St Mary & All Saints, Whalley, Lancashire, are two gravestones which bear interesting dates.

One has the name Ann Crowshaw with the date 31st April 1752, and the other Jacob Green with the date 30th February 1819.

I would be interested in any explanation of these unusual dates.

And are there other similarly puzzling dates in other country churchyards?

Hi friend,
I would like to suggest something regarding unusual dates on gravestones in country churchyards.
generally we believe that people still live as ghost after death.but actually they are not present in this world like the unusual dates which are not present in calender.
Thanks
