I was born in South Yorkshire, grew up and went to school in West Yorkshire, now live in North Yorkshire, have a second home in Scotland on a loch side, but wherever I travel, always glad to come 'home' where I truly belong.
Hi all, I'm new to the forum too. I was born in Bradford and lived there for 34 years and then moved to the coast in East Yorkshire 25 years ago. Bradford is still home to me, I think that its something thats deep rooted. Love where I am now and Bradford has changed so much but the older I'm getting the more nostalgic I'm feeling about my home town.
I am a newbie too. I was born in Bradford and lived a huge chunk of my life down Manchester Road, near St Josephs School. I lived in West Bowling for a while too but I actually lived at Woodside at the time of my leaving Bradford to settle in Canada. That was in 1975. I have been back loads of times and still think of it as home.
